Yes. All data is encrypted in transit using TLS 1.3 and at rest using AES-256. Bank statement data is isolated per user with row-level security. We are working toward SOC 2 Type II (audit in progress), and infrastructure is hosted in the European Union.

From your dashboard, click the "Upload statement" button. Select one or more files (PDF, CSV, or OFX). Uburu processes them automatically — transactions are parsed, categorised, and reflected in your dashboard within seconds.

Insights are derived from two sources: (1) your actual transaction and spending data — patterns, budget deviations, category trends, and net position; and (2) regional financial guidance pulled from official regulatory sources relevant to your country (e.g. CBN for Nigeria, FCA for the UK, IRS for the US).

Uburu offers two plans: Access ($1 for your first month) — core dashboard, spending tracking, and basic insights; and Full ($11.99/month) — unlimited statement uploads, AI-powered deep insights, debt payoff planner, unlimited goals tracking, and priority support.

Yes. The Uburu web app is fully responsive and works on all modern mobile browsers. A dedicated iOS and Android app is on the roadmap.
